How to Report an Error
Despite careful research, errors can occur. If you spot something that seems incorrect or outdated, email [email protected] with the article URL and the specific sentence or claim that appears wrong. Include a source or explanation if you have one.
This site is maintained alongside a full-time career. Error reports are reviewed within 7 days, though straightforward corrections are typically made sooner.
What Gets Corrected
Factual errors in medical information, incorrect or outdated cost data, broken citation links, and misleading or unclear phrasing are corrected immediately. When a correction is made, the article content is updated and the Last Updated date is changed. Significant corrections may be noted in the article if context requires it.
Updates due to new research, differences of medical opinion where evidence is genuinely split, cost variations by location or hospital, and information that was accurate when published but has since changed are not considered errors – these are routine updates handled during quarterly reviews.
Transparency Over Perfection
I am not a medical professional and this site cannot be perfect. What it can be is honest, careful, and responsive when errors are identified. If you spot something wrong, please let me know.
